CHANGE
If there is any one Golden Rule, it is that no other rule is. Rules will change as we go along so it is the responsibility of each player to read this thread frequently and keep up on them.


VIOLATIONS
The Shard Administrator(s) have cart-blanche in enforcing rules. Anything from deletion of items/characters/skill gains, indefinate jailing, to permanent banning are at their disposal. Judgement will be fair, but playing on this shard is privilege. Please do not exploit it, it's rules, or the players.


RESPECT AND MATURITY
This is very simple. We all have a sense of right and wrong. Exercise it. We want you to have as much fun as you can without trampling on the fun of others. Do not cheat or exploit the rules simply because you can. Play fair even when no one is watching.


FEEDBACK
Players are welcome to provide feedback to the designers and/or discuss pretty much anything on their mind so long as it remains constructive. The best venue is to communicate your thoughts to the NUO High Council. Otherwise, you may post on this forum. Please DO NOT attempt to correspond with Admins re: the Shard via any other medium including instant messaging as the volume of messages gets unmanageable.


REPORTING BUGS AND EXPLOITS
Please ONLY report these to the NUO Administrator via pm on this forum.


ONE ACCOUNT, TWO CHARACTERS
Each player is allowed one account and two characters only. ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE ADMINISTRATOR. Players are not permitted to share accounts or give access of their account to any other player. You are to represent your characters at all times. You may delete your current characters and start another one at any time so long as you only occupy two character slots at a time. Characters under one hour old may not be deleted.


MACROING
Simple. No unattended macroing permitted.


REDS/MURDERERS
Preface by saying that though a Murderer may be played, consistently thoughtless griefing wil not be tolerated. Without Evil, there is no Good, much less a reason for it. Conflict and competition are encouraged by NUO. Hence Red characters are a welcome element. It is a very grey, subjective area, however, between what is griefing and what is not. Murderers beware. GUILDS
Anyone may form a Guild. Reds may not make use of homes, but will be provided space to place Guildstones. Larger, more substantial Guilds will be favored in a variety of ways.
