Voodoo System

The Voodoo System requires that a character have 100 skill in Magery and Spiritspeak. Voodoo is not an alternative to traditional Magery in pvp combat. However, the practitioner of Voodoo has an interesting and effective arsenal at his disposal nonetheless. The system is unique in that all of its powers are dependent upon the aforementioned skills as well as custom material components. And of course, the potential for roleplay is enormous with this system.

Voodoo Robes are the cornerstone of this dark art. They are introduced as random drops on Vampire mobs. One of three styles may drop; Voodoo Robes, Voodoo Robes of the Acolyte, and Voodoo Robes of the Warlock. Each level of robe adds progressively better bonuses to your Spiritspeak skill. These higher levels of SS (105, 110, and 120) are required to make use of some of the more powerful items/spells. And if not requisite, having higher skill at times allows for better attributes such as spell range, power, etc.

As noted earlier, all Voodoo powers have material requisites. These components are found on a variety of monsters custom to NUO. To list a few;

There are also a variety of Voodoo weapons and items available that only a practitioner may employ. Some of these are:
